How You Can Help Continue Morris' Legacy Well Into the Future
Morris would no doubt be proud of this sort of legacy.
The Morris Bradshaw Scholarship at the Edwardsville Community Foundation (ECF) will provide an annual scholarship to a graduating senior member of the Edwardsville High School (EHS) Football team who plans to continue his education as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university. The recipient will receive one $2,000 scholarship.
The Edwardsville Community Foundation will manage the scholarship, with support from the EHS football coaching staff, who will nominate an annual recipient who embodies the attributes of Morris.
Here’s how it works:
• Once the fund reaches $50,000, the principal balance will be endowed
• Endowed funds provide perpetual support to generate scholarships
• ECF will generate the award from the earnings of the fund
• Endowing the fund creates a sustainable source of funding
• More students can benefit over time because it is endowed
By contributing to this endowment, you will be helping to create a permanent legacy that will support aspiring young football players far into the future, honoring our friend’s passion for the sport and commitment to education.
While any and all donations will of course be appreciated, ECF can also receive gifts of appreciated stock, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), and planned gifts in your will or estate to benefit the Morris Bradshaw Scholarship.

"As young athletes in Edwardsville, we got very good fundamental training as far as coaching was concerned."
